Lab reporting in VetIMPRESS web

This guide explains how to create a vet report from within a lab case. A vet report is a report that can be viewed by the farm client. By default, clients are unable to see lab cases unless reported on.

Within VetIMPRESS, there are 2 ways to create vet reports. Reports can be created in the Lab Cases area of the VetIMPRESS web or the Lab Results area in the VetIMPRESS mobile app.

1. To create a vet report in VetIMPRESS web, go to Lab Cases and view a case. As long as the case has a client attached, the Create Crop Report option will be available.

2. Once the crop report window has opened, simply click and mouse over the area of the report you want to crop then click crop. Only in the VetIMPRESS web can you create multiple crops of you have different sections of the report that you want to appear in the vet report. To do that, click Add Another Crop and repeat the cropping process. The count displayed will increase with each confirmed crop.

3. Now enter your title and vet comments that you want displayed on the report.

4. Next add your email subject and body. These won't appear on the report but will accompany the report when emailed to the client.

5. Finally, decide on how you would like to send the report. You can preview the report first to confirm you're happy with it. You could preview & publish which will mean a copy of the report will be stored in the documents area for for client to view. The more likely option will that you will want to send the report which will email it to the client and also place a copy of the report in the documents area for for client to view.

6. All the vet reports associated with a lab case can viewed within the lab case itself or the documents area in the practice and client menu.
